One moment

Staring into the distance
My fingers sifting sand
Peace fills my heart
Where the land meets the ocean

It's one moment in time
Precious and sacred
As I watch the sun set
And the mist rolls in
The atlantic breakers
Roll my tears away

The sun is down
And it's time for bed
An odd owl and waves
Natures Lullaby

A new day comes
With a misty dawn
A lonely boat
Goes sailing on

The wind it whispers
The sands will shift
All things end
It's time to go

Tears of sadness
Tears of joy
Treasure the memories
Relive the joy
