Iraq

The country lies in ruins
It's society is in tatters
Thanks to our illlegal campaign
But the people of Iraq are free
Free from His tyranny

Families are devastated, decimated
Their homes but piles of boulders
Smouldering piles of possessions
But the people of Iraq are free
Free from His tyranny

Soldiers rape Mother and Daughter
While father gets his torture in Jail
The nations warned us, we didn't listen
But the people of Iraq are free
Free from His tyranny

Oil flows, the rich are happy
What of families cowering in caves
Cowering in the freezing desert night
But the people of Iraq are free
Free from His tyranny

They have a police force in training
But the resistance stirs it all up
A puppet administration, no power
But the people of Iraq are free
Free from His tyranny

We have nothing to be proud of
Our policies have made this hell
Bush and Blairs world crusade
But the people of Iraq are free
Free from His tyranny

They say we shouldn't cut and run
Would that be worse than what we done?
Bush has lost his backing at home
But the people of Iraq are free
Free from His tyranny

The sooner we are gone the better
The people can rebuild their land
Send Bush and Blair to the Hague
And the people will truly be free
Free from our tyranny
