Making Contact

It always is just too easy
To forget to pick up the 'phone
Yes it's just far too easy
To forget to even write a note
Losing touch is far too easy
Making contact again can be hard

It gets much harder after time
Just to pick up the telephone
It can be so much easier
To let it drift away
Friends aren't easy to find
So make sure you keep a hold

A friend can better a love
Friendship can be much more
I'd rather lose an arm or a leg
Than turn my back on a friend
I would never turn my back
No never turn my back on a friend
