Why do you say you're a girl
That is a question they ask me
An unhappy woman
Trapped in the body of a man

What makes you so sure?
That's what they want to know
I can't say how I know I'm a girl
Any more than I can say how I know
I'm not a man

I cannot say why I'm sure
I just know
It's a strong feeling
I just know I'm a girl

Is that not enough?
What is femininity?

It's personality
It's attitude, the whole person
I cannot define it
But it is me
